STORY
Marathon used to be limited to a handful of enthusiasts, but in the last decades it became the fastest growing sports discipline. The beginnings in 1996 weren't promising - the participation was low and the best results weren't superabundant. But the most prestigious athletics discipline bloomed just in time to become the driving force behind the renaissance of running we're witnessing in Slovenia. The number of participants from all over the world is continuously rising and the organizers are afraid that the streets in Ljubljana could become too narrow.QUOTES
