STORY
As a documentary filmmaker, you are always looking for a topic that is interesting, current and exclusive. For a long time, my sister tried to convince me that it was necessary to make a film about the integration of children from Kosovo into the Slovenian school system. I am glad that she insisted and we opened a debate on this important topic, which has meanwhile become a point of interest in other places besides Kranj.
With the film, we wanted to inform and empower, to build a bridge for more successful integration. In just over two years, in 15 filming days in Slovenia and 10 in Kosovo, we created a feature-length documentary that we are proud of. After the premiere in March 2025, over 100 screenings followed across Slovenia, and we also presented the film in Kosovo, Greece, Moldova, Sweden, ...
